<strong>Traffic Tip<br />
</strong>The traffic in the Austin area will have died down by 9 - 9:30 a.m. If you arrive at the school by 10 a.m. you'll have <br />
plenty of time to unwind before the meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. Our program will end by 2:30 p.m., which will give <br />
you plenty of time to leave Austin before the afternoon traffic begins at 3:30 p.m.<br />

3 Options: From IH-35, the best exits to take are Airport, 51st St., or Koenig/2222. <br />

<strong>Northbound on IH-35<br />

</strong>1. <u>Exit Airport Blvd.</u> from IH-35. Turn left at Airport Blvd. (at the light), cross under IH-35, immediately turn left at the next light on 45th St. Go past Guadalupe and Lamar to the TSBVI entrance on Miller Rd. Follow the TSBVI internal map to Silverrain, Building 544 or the Conference Center, Building 549. <br />

2. <u>Exit 51st St.</u> from IH-35. Turn left at 51st St. light, cross over the overpass. Cross Airport light. Cross Guadalupe light. Turn left at T intersection with Lamar Blvd. (next to 7-11). Turn right onto Sunshine Dr., turn left into TSBVI campus. Park in parking lot on right. Enter Silverrain Building, #544, and follow signs to Conference Center. <br />

<b>Central Texas Chapter Meets with McLennan Community College's PD Day</b> <br />
The next Central Texas chapter meeting will be held during lunch in conjunction with McLennan Community College's PD day on January 3rd. Chapter members may then feel free to attend the scheduled sessions. Register early to reserve your lunch spot. <br />

McLennan Community College is looking forward to this year’s Professional Development Day and we hope to have you in attendance. The Professional Development Day will take place on January 3, 2007 at McLennan Community College's campus. The day will be centered on technology that can be used in the classroom, office, and at home. <br />
<br />
This year the keynote speaker will be, Phillip Long from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and we also will have many other wonderful presenters, sponsors, and of course, participants. In addition to MCC faculty and staff, we will be inviting representatives from 10 different colleges, universities and organizations to attend. MCC faculty/staff will be presenting in several sessions throughout the day along with twelve companies who will also be sponsoring the event, including Dell, Blackboard, Cisco, and Adobe. Please make plans to be with us on January 3rd. This will be a great opportunity to not only network with individuals from surrounding colleges and companies but also to discover innovative and practical ideas to implement in your own workplace. <br />
