Come and network with old friends and make new ones! A build-your-own Nachos and Taco Bar will help “jump start” your conference experience and ease your travel weariness. Cookout, DJ, and Karaoke - Poolside Terrace! Tuesday 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. Poolside Terrace Remember when you used to drag your Hibachi, your cooler full of drinks and food, and your radio down to the beach or lake? What a hassle, huh? Well, what if you could have fresh grilled hamburgers and hot dogs served to you as you sip an ice-cold beverage while being entertained by a DJ? Pretty cool, right? Now, throw in a karaoke machine and people who like to be the object of ridicule, and you have a fun-filled night free of responsibility and full of guffaws. So make plans for Tuesday evening singing under the stars. Wear comfortable clothing (i.e. a swimsuit with expandable waistband), come on down to the Poolside Terrace, and join us for a roarin’ good time. It’ll fill your belly and jiggle it, too. No talent required! TxDLA Awards will be presented at 8:00 p.m. Cash bar will be available.

Welcome to "Club Moody Gardens" Wednesday 7 - 11 p.m. Visitor's Center You gotta know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em! You’ve got nothing to lose….come and play with casino “fun chips” while you hit Blackjack, shoot craps, spin the roulette wheel, or try your luck with Wheel of Fortune. There will also be a Texas Hold ‘em poker tournament – great for those that don’t know a Royal flush from a toilet brush! Casino night will be held Wednesday evening, beginning with a barbeque buffet in the Visitor’s Center. You can play games of chance and “double down” in the Garden Lobby or settle outside to enjoy the gulf view and feel the breeze. A prize auction will be held at the end of the night for those lucky enough to have walked away with some winnings. Whether it’s high stakes poker, a roll of the dice, or you want to beat the house, plan to join your colleagues for some great fun and be a winner! Cash bar will be available.
