TXDLA 2004 Conference

We are excited to invite you to TxDLA 's annual conference to be held March 29 – April 1, 2004 , at the beautiful Moody Gardens Hotel and Resort on Galveston Island . The theme of the conference is Surfing the Big Wave! In celebrating the conference theme, casual dress – such as shorts and t-shirts – will be encouraged for all conference attendees, including board members, presenters, and vendors. The conference program, exhibit hall location and hours of operation, and networking opportunities are designed to maximize your exposure to current and future clients, and to do so in a fun and relaxed environment. Therefore, we feel certain that this is one conference that you and your staff will not want to miss.

This year, TxDLA will move into our 10 th year as a successful association with national prominence and significant market visibility. Since George W. Bush, as governor, launched our organization in 1995, we have assumed a true leadership role as an organization promoting the educational use of the full spectrum of information and telecommunications technologies and advanced learning applications. TxDLA enjoys the prestige of being one of the largest state chapters of the United States Distance Learning Association, and our annual conference attracts one of the largest annual gatherings of distance learning professionals in the state including some of the leading visionaries, practitioners, decision-makers, and public and private institutions, from K-12 through post graduate as well as from corporate training, government and healthcare service areas.
