1. What is the “Welcome Reception”?
The Texas Distance Learning AssociationWelcome Reception is a reception held on the first night of the conference that will be co-sponsored by all exhibitors. Typically, this is a highlight of the conference and is a wonderful opportunity to network with users in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

2. Can I bring more than just two complimentary staff members?
Yes, Texas Distance Learning Associationrecognizes the need for more staffing during the Exhibit Hall hours and is offering all exhibitors a special conference rate of just $200 for each additional staff member.

3. May I bring as many staff members as I want?
Yes, we encourage you to bring as many staff members as you need to effectively staff your booth, thereby reaching as many conference participants as possible. Again, the conference rate of just $200 applies for each additional staff member. Please see the Registration form in this package to register all attendees from your company.

4. Can our staff members come for free if they’re just working the booth?
Yes, limited to 2 only. Their names and contact information are required on the registration form to obtain this type of badge. No attendance of TxLDA sessions, activities or meals are permitted for these staff members. The exhibit hall will be closed during all meal functions and these attendees will be required to leave their booths.

5. What is the “Vendor Showcase”?
A limited number of 45 minute breakout sessions are available that can be used for the vendor showcase. This is designed to provide a forum for vendors to demonstrate their products in a breakout session. Vendors are defined for this purpose as anyone from a for-profit organization with goods and/or services for sale.  Vendors must pay a $150 charge to present a showcase.

6. What do I need to do to present in the Vendor Showcase?
To present,each speaker must submit a proposal form for approval to the Vendor Showcase track chair, Rachel Gartner (rgartner@unt.edu).
