Don't Fence Me In…the Distance Frontier! TxDLA's eighth annual conference was a great success and one of the most important events of 2005. Many new things were discovered at a beautiful conference facility with a wonderful group of people!

These TxDLA 2005 presenters now have presentation materials available to their public! If you were one of our spectacular presenters and would like to share your presentation materials, please send them, preferably in pdf format, to staff@txdla.org. Lance Harris, our CIO-Elect, will post these valuable bits of information for public access here so be sure to check back.

Speaking of public access, another exciting contribution made at TxDLA 2005 will live on for a year. Our keynote speakers were captured for archived streams by Visionality/Designs That Compute. They were very busy taping these special events and some are ready for prime time here.

And speaking of special events, not only did we have a spectacular program, the meals and entertainment also ruled thanks to all of our PARTNERS and that fantastic Entertainment Committee chaired by Teela Watson. The 2005 Awards Committee was chaired by Gerri Maglia and they did quite the impressive production, as did our photographer, Michael Wilhelmi. His live slideshow was continuously catching our eyes and at times making us laugh during group gatherings for meals and general sessions!
