Authoring Online Course Content with Course Genie
We will supply a “toy” file for you to use. We recommend you
bring a Word document with substantive content.
If you have “Designer” rights (or the equivalent) to a
course on your institution’s WebCT, Blackboard, Moodle or other SCORM-compliant
server, you can upload your content file to the server.
If you would like a head start on Course Genie, go to the Horizon Wimba website: http://www.horizonwimba.com/products/coursegenie/
Download the trial version and go through the short tutorials. This is
not required for attendance at the workshop, but some familiarity with
the software will let work more on your own file.
