Sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association, National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) held on November 10-14, 2008, seeks to promote and celebrate the tremendous growth and accomplishments occurring today in distance learning programs offered by schools, businesses, and governmental departments.

Texas Distance Learning Association will conduct a series of events during November 10th through the 14th to celebrate distance learning and to educate the general public on the future of learning. Please refer to the list of TxDLA sponsored webinars below.

Distance Learning Public Policy in Texas & TxDLA Membership Resources

Description: The first part of this session will focus on public policy as it relates to Texas distance learning initiatives and will provide an overview of the purpose and actions of the committee as well as upcoming Texas and Federal distance learning legislation. In the second part of the session we will walk you through the many online resources that are available at the TxDLA website as well as highlight other ways you can increase collaboration in the TxDLA.
