The 2019 Inductee for the Hall of Fame is Dr. Kaye Shelton. Dr. Kaye Shelton serves as professor of educational leadership in doctoral studies at Lamar University. Previously as Dean of Online Education for Dallas Baptist University, she led the development and operations of online programs with 55 majors/degrees.  A certified online instructor since 1999, Dr. Shelton has spoken at conferences, workshops, and consulted for institutions regarding the creation, best practices, and quality evaluation of online programs.  Winner of two online exemplary awards, the John R. Bourne Award for Outstanding Achievement in Online Education and Pearson’s 2014 CITE Award for Excellence in Online Administration, she has published over forty articles and chapters regarding online education, including the book, An Administrator’s Guide to Online Education with George Saltsman.  Dr. Shelton is the original researcher of the OLC Quality Scorecard for Online Programs, the OLC Blended Program Scorecard, and the Quality Course Teaching and Instructional Practice Scorecard and works closely with the OLC on their quality education initiatives.
