Candidate for Texas Governor Submits Policy Statement on Distance Learning

Last month Public Policy Chair sent letters to the campaigns of all the candidates for all state-wide offices asking for the candidate’s policy/position statement on distance learning. To date only one candidate has responded.

Mark Tippetts is the Libertarian candidate for Governor. He supports alternative educational solutions. He received two degrees through distance learning himself.

Mark believes that the way we put children/students through school is archaic. He would support legislation to eliminate barriers to educational choice and innovation. Mark Tippetts would support legislation that promotes alternatives to traditional schooling.
